Will be from December 28 - January 1 ..... Where are some good places to go? Where are the more entertaining/focus areas during this time period?? I'll be going by train, and most likely renting a car when I get down there .... Any suggestions on where to stay or places to go would be great! Thanks fellas! The Virginia beach area is where u should go for vacation. the hilton hotel that is right along the ocean is nice, and has good seafood places in the surrounding area. there are alot of mini golf places and tourist friendly shops around there too. if you like shopping Norfolk has a nice mall called macarthur center and there is also a great outlet mall in williamsburg. if you want to drink then i'll leave it up to you to find bars but there are plenty. Virginia Beach is a good place to get away but for the best experience go when it is warm out and get there early cuz it gets crowded. just a word of warning you might see alot of old people in VB and there are alot of ghettos and norfolk.
