Well I've opted to skip mounting the Nendo gain knob, turns out it only works on bridged channels on the amp. May find a place to hide this guy or flush mount elsewhere. I'll get up tomorrow and have a good look, maybe post a couple pictures and location ideas. I'll figure something I like out.

Finally I bother ordering some deadening, looks like it's time for those components to go in...

Should I order more speaker wire and put my Xovers in the back or just drop 'em in the doors like I planned? I want to mount them in the doors against some deadener for shock resistance, the xovers that came with these components are darned simple and super heavy should be real durable.

Thought on it long and hard and I've changed my mind about putting the xovers in my doors. It's too damned humid in FL and I might wanna go active at some point so I ordered 50ft of 14ga speaker wire to run for the tweeters, I'll leave my 12ga runs for the mids. At least I already have cable through the boots on the doors and I can get a piece of string through there to pull everything through this time around. When I put the wiring in the first time I cut my hands up all over trying to get it through those damned boots.

Ordered some more things to go in upon arrival. Opted to get Stinger 4000 series RCAs, they get good reviews and the connectors are trilla small (should fit between my head unit dash unlike my current cables). Bought a matching aux cable because it looked cool, I know that's the worst reason to buy anything but clothes, oh well. These little things sure do add up, but they make all the difference. Also ordered some good OFC speaker wire for my subs so I don't have to use crap this time around.

In the mail today, 50ft OFC 14ga for the mids. Turns out I have 16ga in there now not 12ga like I was thinking, so I will use the existing 16ga for the tweeters.
