Best MEMPHIS sub ever??

Yea seemed like a know it all he tried to tell a very knowledgable competitor that he gains like 5dbs just buy doubling power. Which don't get me wrong I'm sure there are some crazy cases where it possible but not many. Plus he was talking all types of crazy just came off as a douche.

Do you think he's really getting 10k clamped power to both subs? No he's not. He might be getting like 4-6k clamped. Might be getting more or less depending on box rise. Side note I could run a sd16k to a American bass xfl and have no problems running it daily. Being smart is what keeps you from blowing subs. Not having 4" coils.

well he was quite humble to me...?

i guess in a way he might have had an ego, there didnt happen to be anyone instigating things against him?

and on the contrary someone could claim hes getting 16kwatts. both just hypothetical statements.

and i don't see anyone declaring a 4" coil is the key to ultimate power?

and that's a bit exaggerated, thats like saying a 150lb man who prepares himself all day for a work out is somehow going to be able to bench 400lbs.

no, there are still limitations on subs, so i wouldn't believe you if you said u ran a sd16k on a ab xfl.

plus that's not very smart, so i guess in you're perspective that's how you would blow that xfl

@fox

Yes I probably would actually I know your electrical system I could see that happening. I had 2 4500's at one time.

@tim

You didn't get my point. You can put a huge amp on a low rated woofer and be just fine. It's all about gains, box size, etc.
