Figured since I got a new truck I might as well start a build log on it. This will be my first build log on this site as I usually kept everything on my Facebook instead. That was until I found the SMD forums. Ive been around on the forums for about a year now and I can say I've learned an EXTREME amount of knowledge from everybody on here. I will take any knowledge that yall can throw my way and any criticism/help too. I dont get offended easily, so you could say my truck is the absolute worst build youve ever seen and it would bother me a bit. This build will be very slow as funds are tight as usual. But I cant just put off my system anymore. But anyways enough with the ramblin and on to the truck. Equipment list (green I already have bought and installed, red i still need to get) 0 gauge wire 4 gauge wire Headunit (undecided, suggestions?) Sundown SA-12 dual 4 ohm Hifonics Brutus BRZ1200.1D Custom built box tuned to 32hz The truck on the floor at the dealership The truck after driving it home Ran my 0 gauge OFC wire, actually REALLY easy. Big thanks to severancej for the info on where to run it through the firewall Firewall shot Work 2nd shift until midnight so its hard to find time to work on it. runnin out inside the cab. Wire ran out under the driver seat. Got the speaker wire ran under the carpet to under the backseat for right now. Dash tore apart messin with a little wiring my SiriusXM I have to integrate in. I have no idea how to do it, going to take it to a local car audio shop and see if they can help me get the job done. It was spliced into the factory harness so it would come on with the ignition and radio on. but it has its own ground thats spliced into the factory ground, but the factory ground isnt in the harness plug, its grounded directly to the back of the stock radio. So i dont know what I need to do there, maybe yall can help some there... My old HID's that were in my lincoln wont fit my new truck or my wifes truck whats the luck right? Hmmmmm its a possibility that these might end up on the new truck haha my lincoln i put my system in in 6 DEGREE weather with it frozen solid outside and the next week it got totaled so I had to take it all out... figures Anyways, any criticism/help will be much appreciated Thanks SMD fam
