Nikitaaa
I'm not going to bore you guys with the details of all my previous builds, except with the only one that is relevant. Before the start of my wall, I had my Z's in a ported box behind my back seats. It's time for them to get a new home!! Everything is better in pairs! Nikitaaa
Alright, next up is the amps. Before anyone uneducated tries to call me out on rolling with a Crunch amp, go look at countless clamp results. They are very solid and have an identical board to a AB VFL 200.1.. To sum it up, I LOVE THIS AMP! 2007 M/T Honda Civic Coupe EX (4) Sundown Audio X-8's (2) Ampere Audio 3800.1's (3) Stinger SPV-44 Batteries (1) Mechman 240 3:1 Ratio 4th order sealed from the trunkTEAM NWSPLBest termlab scores to date in Honda trunk:151.7db legal (official) IASCA trunk 3 classBest termlab scores to date in my walled Subie:152.9db legal (unofficial) IASCA advanced 2 class155db outlaw
Nikitaaa
Here are some pictures of the welding wire I used. keep in mind this isn't the only type of 0/1 in my Suby but it is what the main run is composed of. I also used Hushmat and spray foam to deaden my roof. It is pretty solid. And here is a random picture of my huge ass trophy I won in finals 2007 M/T Honda Civic Coupe EX (4) Sundown Audio X-8's (2) Ampere Audio 3800.1's (3) Stinger SPV-44 Batteries (1) Mechman 240 3:1 Ratio 4th order sealed from the trunkTEAM NWSPLBest termlab scores to date in Honda trunk:151.7db legal (official) IASCA trunk 3 classBest termlab scores to date in my walled Subie:152.9db legal (unofficial) IASCA advanced 2 class155db outlaw
Nikitaaa
Now lets gets started with the actual wall build.. Go easy on me guys, it's my first time doing something like this and was a MAJOR learning experience. I started with removing my seats. Being the lazy newb that I am, I had a bunch of messy wire under there that I have always been too lazy to clean. Before- After- Now that the wiring is all cleaned up I can fully remove the seats. Here they are in- Here they are out- (Excuse my cut into door panels, they are the start of a fiberglass project.) 2007 M/T Honda Civic Coupe EX (4) Sundown Audio X-8's (2) Ampere Audio 3800.1's (3) Stinger SPV-44 Batteries (1) Mechman 240 3:1 Ratio 4th order sealed from the trunkTEAM NWSPLBest termlab scores to date in Honda trunk:151.7db legal (official) IASCA trunk 3 classBest termlab scores to date in my walled Subie:152.9db legal (unofficial) IASCA advanced 2 class155db outlaw
Nikitaaa
This is the wood after me and my buddy Eric cut it on his table saw. Big props to that guy, couldn't have done it without him. They way I planned this build, I wanted the box to be removable, but I was off on my dimensions by just a tad so I had to build the wall inside the vehicle. This is the start of the actual box build. I built a false floor with 2x4's, but that ended up being to tall so I used the bottom of the enclosure as the floor. Baffle and side of the box added.. It's actually starting to look like something now.. 2007 M/T Honda Civic Coupe EX (4) Sundown Audio X-8's (2) Ampere Audio 3800.1's (3) Stinger SPV-44 Batteries (1) Mechman 240 3:1 Ratio 4th order sealed from the trunkTEAM NWSPLBest termlab scores to date in Honda trunk:151.7db legal (official) IASCA trunk 3 classBest termlab scores to date in my walled Subie:152.9db legal (unofficial) IASCA advanced 2 class155db outlaw
Nikitaaa
And here is a little teaser. I designed this box to have a removable port so here it is.. I eventually paint it black as you'll see. Here is the port inside the box along with mounted subwoofers and threaded rod bracing. 2007 M/T Honda Civic Coupe EX (4) Sundown Audio X-8's (2) Ampere Audio 3800.1's (3) Stinger SPV-44 Batteries (1) Mechman 240 3:1 Ratio 4th order sealed from the trunkTEAM NWSPLBest termlab scores to date in Honda trunk:151.7db legal (official) IASCA trunk 3 classBest termlab scores to date in my walled Subie:152.9db legal (unofficial) IASCA advanced 2 class155db outlaw
Nikitaaa
After the box was finished, I had to build beauty panels and seal off the wall. To do this, I used spray foam/saran wrap, pillows (lol), and gorilla tape.. I don't have many pictures of that though unfortunately because my the only time I can work on my build is usually when it's dark and my phone makes a fantastic flashlight, Here is the black carpet I put around the entire box. I did this because the windows of my car are not tinted, and the black fabric on the box makes it hard to see through the window because all you see is darkness. Yes it is a bit messy, but i'm not to concerned about that at the moment 2007 M/T Honda Civic Coupe EX (4) Sundown Audio X-8's (2) Ampere Audio 3800.1's (3) Stinger SPV-44 Batteries (1) Mechman 240 3:1 Ratio 4th order sealed from the trunkTEAM NWSPLBest termlab scores to date in Honda trunk:151.7db legal (official) IASCA trunk 3 classBest termlab scores to date in my walled Subie:152.9db legal (unofficial) IASCA advanced 2 class155db outlaw
