The box is 4 cubic ft tuned to 35hz, about a week ago the surround tore on one of the subs so I decided to get both subwoofers reconed/rebuild and the guy I was talking to said my modle subwoofer was the old one and after the recone/rebuild the subwoofers will go from 700rms to 1000rms. So my Amp will have to go from 1200 watts rms to 2400 watts rms. after all of this will I have to build another box to handle the power or will the box I have do fine? formality Posted December 6, 2012 Report Share Posted December 6, 2012 I just want to make sure i have everything straight before i try and help you, they are 12 inch woofers correct? and what amp do you plan on running them off of, also do you have the electrical system to keep up with 2400 watts rms?
