95 honda civic hatch build

here is what i started with

started gutting it

more pics coming as well equipment being used

so i paint the interior plastic black and added poly fill in the rear

patched some holes

working on amp rack and subbox locations (who needs backseats)

so for equipment

pioneer 4000ub deck

kenwood eq

audiopipe eq

5 1/4 inch cliff design components

4 inch sound stream

sony xm450 speaker amp

incriminator audio 20.1 sub amp

2 - 12 inch mach5audio spl subs

trying a 6 1/2 t-line box tuned to 40hz

so here a pic of one of the mach5audio subs

also put resin inside the box

and added 8 gauge speaker wires

made t-line for the 4 inch speakers tuned to 200hz for a little mid bass

also did some work on the paint

started with rolling on a 50/50 mix of mineral spirits and tremclad (rustoleum)

put on alot of coats

then with 4 rattle cans and a plastic bag did this

total cost was around $35 , will probably go back to black in the spring

built a lower consol to the eqs and a voltmeter on the sub amp that i can switch on or off

have 2/3 of big 3 done , i just have to go positive to alternator

already replaced alt ( need a mechman )

have different ports length starting at 33hz going to 53hz

have a coolant problem right now , have to replace rad

have pull out system for winter but next year

going to be running 2 ia 20.1s

2 sony xm450

upgrading doors to 4 sets of 6 1/2s

rear stage will be 2 sets of 5 1/4s

rebuilding subbox

adding isolator and some batteries

never got the car metered

good start this makes me miss my 94 civic with 100 shot of nos. good old days. btw them subs look beastly
