OrzechNJ Posted December 28, 2012 Report Share Posted December 28, 2012 whats up guys with the beginning of new year I will be getting new enclosure for my new 15" sub - prob lvl 5 m2 on 3-3.5k (not sure yet) I wanna all air from the box going in to the cab.. the reason why i wanna do that is that even with all Second skin job which ive done i still have a lot of rattle.. / bumper is shaking and whatever is under it.. the question is how do I fill the gaps ? Obviously I can do some trimming but what else I can do .. spray all bunch of foam ? any advises appreciated sometimes Loud is NOT pretty Sounds like its safe to go ahead and bend that ass over. audiA6_audio Posted December 28, 2012 Report Share Posted December 28, 2012 im going to be doing this as well to me 4dr sedan. make sure you deaden and seal up your rear fill (deck) i plan on using second skin on the top and bottom. i plan on building the box to max dimensions to create the smallest gap possible. then using expanding foam to finish it off. i dont think it will do too bad of a job. you will probably have yours done before i get to mine so make sure you post results. ive seen alot of people use duct tape but i dont feel that a clean job should be sacrificed.
