Box Check Please

Here is a cutsheet for the above, didn't look at the design itself:

External Height = 14 in

External Width = 24 in

External Depth = 17 in

Port Width = 2 1/2 in

Cut Sheet List:

* All Dimensions in Inches.

* Wood Thickness is 3/4 for all Parts.

External Enclosure Parts:

Front & Back = 24 x 14

Left & Right Sides = 15 1/2 x 12 1/2

Top & Bottom = 24 x 15 1/2

L Port Internal Assembly Parts:

Front to Back = 13 x 12 1/2

Extension = 5 x 12 1/2

What the hell?

24" width for front plate and back plate and the box width is 27" wide.

Obvious you didn't look at the design Joe. lol

It's so I don't have to cut a hole in the front piece. Look at the google sketch up. That's with my dimensions so obviously that would work.....

Oh excuse that other post I read it wrong and thought you were talking about how I had it. I just re- read and saw the mistake that joe put.

also, see my post above, put a 3 in the common walls box. that changes you net cuft to 2.3, i think you want 2.0 so you need to shrink the box a bit.

everything in the design checks out, actually. did your friend prefer to tune that high? or is it because of his music preference, etc?

That's the tuning that Orion recommended in the owners manual.

Really random late update but here is how it turned out. It's actually one of the the cleanest boxes I built mainly because it was the first one that I had my belt sander.
