Lucas702 Posted January 5, 2013 Report Posted January 5, 2013 So I work at a boat shop, and we sometimes replace amplifiers that no longer work. I have a JL M6450 and a Kicker 08ZX700.5 here that this was the case. The JL has only one working channel, and the Kicker keeps popping fuses and going in to protect (I belive). Is there any way to figure out if these are repairable, or what it could cost to get them repaired? I'm just looking to have a couple amps for builds and if I can get these repaired cheaper than I can get new ones, I will go for it. Any advice? Thanks, Lucas
Lucas702 Posted January 7, 2013 Author Report Posted January 7, 2013 Sent you a pm. Would it be easier to tell if they are repairable if I were to pull the covers off of them and take some photos?
