EpicenterDesigns Posted February 1, 2008 Author Report Share Posted February 1, 2008 Well the VIN numbers don't tell you anything. Nothing at all on the paint. BUT PQD number you had, IS the paint code. It is a Surf Blue Pearl. Mixed it up and took it outside and it looked perfect. At least then it did. I took it to the shop, put it on a paint stick and it looked nice. An hour later I would look at it and it seemed too dark. I went back and forth like this all day. So I don't know. In the morning, I am gonna mix up the other 2 Blue Hues and compare them all. B5 is called Steel Blue according to the painters computer. Should have done that color today since it was on the sticker of the car. But I was excited that I had thought I got the color first try. I'll have more colors tomorrow and maybe I will try to get pics for you to see. And it would be ideal for me to spray some over a white base for comparisons. But he is giving me free paint samples and there just isn't enough for me to spary correctly.
