Spencer Good Posted January 14, 2013 Report Share Posted January 14, 2013 I was wondering, if you use polyfill in your sealed section to get a little more space out of it would the ported section be 2:1 to the ACTUAL sealed section or the simulated box size. BEEMDUB Posted January 14, 2013 Report Share Posted January 14, 2013 Unless you absolutely can't fit it I would try to build a true 2:1 ratio box without polyfill.....I've seen a couple 4th orders that did use polyfill in the sealed section because they couldn't make the box big enough...some of them sound alright but 4th orders are really touchy. I'm actually not asking to build it for myself, I'm just asking because i'm trying to learn more about 4ths and couldn't see anywhere if someone had done that before.
