soBASED
So my buddy has the Rockford Fosgate P1-2X12, and wants to get more low end and output out of them with his current amp which is the Rockford Fosgate R600-5 which puts out 300 watts rms to subs (2ohm load). He doesn't want to spend the money to get a monoblock so I decided to design an enclosure for him and I would build it. I was thinking 4ft^3 or a 3.8ft^3 box with a 3" slot port tuned to 30hz cause he listens to decaf, dub step, rap and some pop. We want ridiculous lows but not too low so I chose 30hz. I have done this through winISD but I would like to get opinions from others. I haven't measured his Suburban but I know he's got at least 40" W x 40" D and as high as we want the box to be. I was also gonna fire subs up and port back.
