listra Posted January 16, 2013 Report Posted January 16, 2013 I am looking to upgrade my current system and have some unsure about some things. I currently have a factory altenator and battery (unsure of specs atm) with 2 kicker L7 12 in a ported box with a planet audio 2500.1 and a planet audio 600.4. I want to upgrade to 3 orion hcca 12 with 3 rockford fosgate t2500bd and will be adding 2 XS Power D3100 to help power this. I am unsure which size battery isolator to purchass and if I should upgrade my altenator before installing my new system. Any help or ideas would be greatly appreciated.

listra Posted January 16, 2013 Author Report Posted January 16, 2013 Doesnt the isolator help keep the starting battery from dieing while the vehicle is turned off and how do i figure out how many batteries would be enough???
