First Live Recordings with the Presonus Studiolive

Last night, I was able to finally get my Macbook out and recorded my friend (who I was running sound for) at a shop in Marietta, Ohio. This was all his, band, the MFB (the Motha Funkin' Band). They put on a hell of a show. Not perfect, but they are all great musicians. Here are some clips I took out from this weekend, recorded live with my Studiolive 24.4.2 and after basic mix down.

We Want The Funk: https://soundcloud.c...1-wewantthefunk

Regulators/Mothership Connection/Let Me Ride: https://soundcloud.c...0103-regulators (This one is my personal favorite)

Super Freak/Can't Touch This: https://soundcloud.c...0201-superfreak

Mary Jane: https://soundcloud.c...b-0202-maryjane

God dayum that's bassy. I hope your mix didn't actually sound like that

Good rule of thump is go by what fuse size is being used in these amps. The higher the more amperage it pulls, this is what I look at.

I'll stick a 300 amp fuse in a potato and sell it to you for $2k.

I'm not hating on your mix btw lol

As per your other videos I'm sure it sounded mint live. Did you record all 24 channels? Or just a subgroup recording or something?

No, it was a real fast mixdown, I redid it and it sounds a lot better. The mix was different, as the bassist didn't like me asking him to turn his amp down...lol. I didn't get a chance to get any videos. If you go to my Soundcloud account, you can see the newer mixes on there. Should sound a lot better.
