bassfreake Posted January 28, 2013 Report Posted January 28, 2013 I was thinking about running a setup of one or two subs in the trunk (either 12s or 15s haven't decided yet) and then running a few more subs coming out from between the seats going into the cab of the car (probably either 8s or 10s) would I be able to run all this from one D class mono amp or would I have to run seperate amps for each of them? at the present moment for this I'm looking at 2 AQ HDC312s in the trunk and 2 HDC310s between the seats... so then it would be a total of 4kw and all of the subs are running the same RMS... but I was also thinking about trying with 2 HDC312s in the trunk and 2 or 3 SDC28s between the seats or (insert the above combinations replacing the 2 12s with: 1 AQ HDC415, 1 AQ HDC412, or 2 AQ HDC315s) Thanks I was pretty excited about the alt myself. kind of like a school girl, in a dress, on a swing. lol It's warming up enough that the donut-punching cyclist douchenozzles are getting their two wheeled fagmobiles out. mdegen Posted January 28, 2013 Report Posted January 28, 2013 they would all need to be the same impedance of sub and you should be okay just go online and figure out what the wiring diagram for 4 subs would be and do that just externally of the box. are they all going to be dvc?

Guest Posted January 28, 2013 Report Posted January 28, 2013 dont mix subs/sizes. all the same, or nothing. plus aq 15's need a LOT of space. i doubt you'll be able to fit two in a trunk, because thats a good almost 10 cubes right there.

Guest Posted January 28, 2013 Report Posted January 28, 2013 you're talking about identical woofers right? you can hook up 500 speakers to one amp, as long as the ohm load is within the operating spec of the amp.
