Ok so I ordered a remote start/alarm. I ordered the Avital 5303L from Sonic, but they sent me the 5303.. Is there a difference besides the way the remote looks??. Before I send it back?... Thanks..

Avital did what is called a rolling change, where they changed the look of the product slightly but kept the same model number. What you received probably has a black remote as opposed to the slightly lighter remote. Here is the product on their web page:

http://www.avital.com/products/product.aspx?id=5000

If you select "Choose A Product", you will see one of the options is "5303 (5303L)". The 5303 is the same product as the 5303L. The L signifies that it is an Avital product, just like how the Python 5303P signifies that it is the Python version. We weren't informed that there was a rolling change, so what you saw in the pictures when you made your purchase was the former version, and I apologize you didn't receive what you may have expected. We are having the product pulled to update the pictures. There is a slight difference in the the colors and design of the remotes, but other than that they are the same exact. Please let me know if you would like to return the product and I can help you out with that.
