Here is the final update. Got it painted my school colors. The paint really isn't that sturdy on this plastic. It is regular old high performance wheel paint by dupli-color that I had left over. I did a coat of etching primer after I wiped the whole thing with alcohol. it helped the paint grab a lot. I should have done an enamel clear coat but I just didn't have enough time. Next time I will most likely truck bed line the thing and make it tough. Also added a real cigarette lighter for sparking squares and charging phones, tablets, etc. I have had some general interest in making these for people but it's hard to convince people to spend $400-500 on something. The cool thing about this is you can spend $200 or you can spend $1000 depending on how much weight and how loud you want it to be. Overall I am very satisfied and it has gotten a good deal of use especially for cookouts and days on the boat (my friend only has one battery on his boat). Let me know if you have any questions.
