Idk why but im scared as fuck to run my wires like that ... like you have 0 protection on them...

You're right, but I do live in Louisiana and Never had to worry about snow and the coating is pretty thick for water to get in them. I may regret it later, but it was much nicer to do it this way and I know others have done it.

Got a lot done tonight. Pretty much at a stale mate waiting on last few packages to arrive.

IMG_5433.jpg

Getting all my runs from front and frame grounds ran up through back.

IMG_5434.jpg

Started running wire. I like the look we are trying to pull off.

IMG_5435.jpg

I started taking a lot of pics and just got aggravated and busy and didn't take as many. Heres after a few more hours.

IMG_5436.jpg

Everything ran, just needing tucked and wrapped and put on battery.

IMG_5437.jpg

1/0 wire is no joke. This stuff was brutal messing with.

IMG_5438.jpg

Dirty but all in place.

IMG_5439.jpg

Quick wipe down

IMG_5440.jpg

Doing the stuff no one sees, but I know is done right!

IMG_5441.jpg

IMG_5442.jpg

IMG_5443.jpg

All done for the night. The old PG circuit breaker is just a place holder until my RF comes in next week.

IMG_5444.jpg

All put back in place. Dirty, but nothing a detail can't take care of. Seat up.

IMG_5445.jpg

Seat down. Few things to tie up tomorrow and of course cleaning and waiting on PDB, a sky high package, and a RF circuit breaker to come in.

That's it for tonight guys. I am going to bed....tired and my little boys birthday is tomorrow.

Let me also say a HUGE thanks to my boys Kylar, Purple, Carbon, Jeff, and CJ all for helping a ton. There's probably more, but I am beat. Thanks for reading my little build. I only wish I would have had more time with someone who had more experience than I do. I done a lot of stuff Ive never done before and because of that there are small things that could have been done quicker and better, but overall I am having a good time. I want to hear it now!

Sick as a dog today and my little boys birthday. Big 11. Making me old. But... these unexpectantly showed up.

IMG_5447.jpg

So as I laid on my porch I figured why not and get some power to those DC sisters.

So I did...

IMG_5449.jpg

Need to pretty this up, but a little idea I had.

IMG_5453.jpg

VM1 lite up finally.

Closer

One thing I don't understand is what kind of voltage I should be expecting. This is reading off my 2k, which is powered but no sub so now power being drawn yet. I've got a 3500 under hood, big 3, and a 950 in the back with run of + and - to back from front, and a ground on back to frame. It goes from 14.4 to 12.8 with just the highs on pretty quickly, and even drops below that. Should I look into a possible problem or is this expected without my alt being upgraded?

It needs the DD1 tomorrow and everything needs to be set. I cleaned it up a little and had to move the 2k up a small bit because it wouldn't' fit. Tomorrow I'll add studs to my box and rerun all the wires for the Fi and get it all in and start setting everything tomorrow. Then next week Violet will get some plasti on!

Thanks for reading my little build.
