bassfreake Posted February 19, 2013 Report Posted February 19, 2013 I have pictured in my mind that I wanna do 16 audison voce 3" speakers (4 in each door) 4 audison voce 6.5" speakers (2 in each front door and 2 between the back seats where the arm rest is now) probably 6 audison voce tweeters (2 on each A pillar and one on each back door) or 4 of them (one on each A pillar and one on each back door) and possibly a pair of 10s or 2 pairs of 10s for mid-bass to replace the 6x9s that are currently under the back window behind the back seat... but I'm having trouble coming up with any kind of wiring that could handle all of them and give them all proper power... was originally thinking doing the Crescendo audio C1100.4 to cover the 16 3"s... but that still leaves 4-6 tweeters 4 6.5s and 2-4 10s without power and I can't think of how to get power to all of them Thanks I was pretty excited about the alt myself. kind of like a school girl, in a dress, on a swing. lol It's warming up enough that the donut-punching cyclist douchenozzles are getting their two wheeled fagmobiles out. You're going to spend 2500+ for speakers and you don't know how you're going to cross them or even power them? Audison makes 3 way crossovers that could handle equal sets..1 tweet/3"/6.5" on a crossover...thats what I would do or run active on some audison amps. That doesn't cover your tens or odd number of tweets/midrange to mid woofer arrangement.... Why not stick to audison amps and crossovers and run a equal amount of components.. why 16 3"s but only 4 6.5"s?? A few days ago you asked about strapping two different amps didn't you? This would be a big pain in the ass to wire and crossover everything correctly. The ambition is great but I think you're getting ahead of yourself here. Maybe go to a local show and lsiten to some setups...especially with multiple 6.5"s and tweets in a door and see what you like and talk to the people running it. I bet you could spend alot less then that Audison gear(it is nice as fawk tho) and be more than satisfied. Maybe do active front stage. I was thinking 16 3s and 4 6.5s just cuz I've got that pannel in my door that one of them has already broken off (the connectors actually snapped) so I had the idea to replace that pannel with speakers, and that pannel is paralelagram (SP? 4 sided shape, oposite sides are parallel but the corners are not right angles) that is 12.5 inches long and I think it was 7 or 8 inches tall... so I figured I could stick 4 3" speakers in each of them. and since the stocks in the doors currently are 6.5 coax I was just going to replace them with 6.5 comps... and then of course I had to replace the highs from the coax with some tweeters and figured with all the speakers I had planned to put in already that I would need more than just 2 tweeters... and yes I asked about strapping 2 different amps, I was mostly just asking that to verify what I was already thinking which was that it would be bad. I figured it was better to ask and confirm than not ask and just suspect. part of why I was looking at audison was cuz I had asked who were good brands for mid/high and that was on that list of stuff people mentioned and them and one other brand from that list were the only ones I found with something other than tweets and 6.5s... and most of the other brands I was seeing didn't have much available for comps it was mostly coax stuff and I was trying to move away from coax. I'm totally open for better suggestions though I'm brand new to mids/highs (obviously) and I've been in subs for a few years but still getting my feet wet there too... I'm just the type that when I start getting into something I like to dive head first into it lol (my first bass guitar other than the one my parents got for me from a flea market was $300 retail of $700 and the amp I got for it was a big $350 100w monster... and the first computer I built I started with what processor I wanted and then spent $3000 in parts and built a computer around that processor... kinda tried to do that here I guess lol "Ok I want these subs in my trunk... now how do I make this work...
