TRON
So my voltage regulator fried this morning, because my voltage spikes like crazy as the engine speed goes up. I hooked up my meter and revved up the engine, and it spiked beyond mentioning. Wondering if I did damage to my battery, I know that it took well over 18v and its a 5100r. I swapped it out for the original battery but I'm hesitant to hook it up to my intellicharger. Nathan @ XSpower
If it wasn't for a long period of time, then you are probably ok. if you damaged it due to the high voltage the battery would probably be hot and you would smell a sulfur smell from the battery.
