Recommended Posts

i will be purchasing a single 12 inch subwoofer and i was wondering what i should buy. ALPINE TYPE "R" SWR-1222D, a MTX THUNDER T4512-44 12", or a ROCKFORD FOSGATE PUNCH P312D4, there all in my price range around $130-$220. please help me decide. thank you.

flatwind increases surface area so it increases power handling

copper coil cant be incorporated with the bp power option

copper coil sound better and supposedly yields smoother transistions between notes

so its either copper or bp or flatwind no other combination
