loudNlow87
I have time off. Yes! I can get shit done. Still gotta buncha shit to do before it's finished, but I just gotta run wire to make noise. Here's some more progress. Yanked the factory floor, spare tire and jack. Found that I could literally fit 6 3100's in there alone. Quick mock up of a box to hold it in place. Slapped it all together. Had a badass drill-slip that almost got me.. This is what you get for holding shit with your knees trying to drill. loudNlow87
Went to both places in town and couldn't find an exact match, but close enough for me. Started off with a can of this. And we're off. Trim it up a bit and drop the ports in. And look at that.. She fits. loudNlow87
Now I had to make a little trim panel/mini false floor piece. Took the factory floor and traced it out on a piece of wood. Cut it out and screwed some 3/4" pine to back to raise flush. Back to the fun stuff. Pop it in and now I can still get to the fuses and shit easily. Neckbeard
Any reason you went with that peachy/cream color? Build log, Super slow!!: http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/168096-slow-neckbeards-1970-opel-gt/
loudNlow87
Any reason you went with that peachy/cream color? I went with factory interior colors. The floor piece will probably get wrapped again as well. I'm too picky about shit like that I guess. Looks weird but it's the closes I could find within a 10 minute drive. Re wrapping is easy though.
