Anyone know is there space under the back seats in a Ford Taurus? I'm thinking about doing my upgrade and putting the battery bank under there if possible. Lol 3 amps and 3 batteries and a 3.5 gross box takes up alot of space in a trunk build lol I'm gna pull the seats out myself and look when i get the chance just thought i would see if i could get some input on it. Only thing I've seen online is that the fuel pump is under there on one side

Thanks I was pretty excited about the alt myself. kind of like a school girl, in a dress, on a swing. lol

It's warming up enough that the donut-punching cyclist douchenozzles are getting their two wheeled fagmobiles out.

If it's anything like mine, yes there is. It starts high toward the front, then gradually gets deeper toward theback, which at max is about 6". Enough for amplifiers, but not enough for a full-size battery. It'd be about big enough to fit a half-size battery on it's side.

oh ok, well I guess I could do the batteries in the trunk and the amps in the seat if I have to. just seems a little redundant to go from the batteries in the trunk then the amps in the seat then back into the trunk where the subs are, that's why I was hoping to put the batteries under there, less distance for the speaker wires to travel. and therefore I figure less spaghetti to deal with... lol although I guess when you're running 3 amps 2 of which are 3500w and are strapped together I should probably be worrying more about the mass flux of probably 10 1/0 gauge wires trying to fit under the seat than about the 2-4 8 gauge wires going back to the speakers lol
