T.A.G. Audio
Ok I'm done ranting. I just worked on my truck for a long time last night and its just makin me mad that this thing is not working. So I can't see it being broken because it is brand new. I have regroumded it right underneath the eq to the body sanded and all. The RCA's work when I use connectors on them so I know the signal is there. But still nothing even when I try my speaker amps channels RCA's and they all work if I just use the connector just from the main RCA's to one of the sets running to different amps. I have tried aux on/ off. I know the connections are secure. Could it be any of the settings on the hu? I can't see it being that though because even then it would still put out something. 03 Ford f150 2 Sa8 v2s Ap 1800d... aerickson
Try a thicker power wire like 14 gauge speaker wire.
T.A.G. Audio
I can't see that making a difference and it would be a pita to do with how hard it is to run that wire. 03 Ford f150 2 Sa8 v2s Ap 1800d... CleanSierra
Yeah dude, gauge of wire certainly isn't your problem here. So the unit powers up and lights up, but just no sound? I ran one pair of RCAs from my front channel output on the deck, to main in on.the Eq. I then ran my 4 channel RCAs from the appropriate outputs. To me, it DOES sound like a remote turn on issue or clearly a signal issue. I would try tapping into the actual Blue remote turn on wire and make sure your amps themselves are powering up. Im not the one you want to try to troll. Just a fyi for you.
T.A.G. Audio
The amps themselves are for sure powering up. Like I said when I unplug the main in RCA's from the hu and use little connectors to connect then to either my sub amp RCA's or my front or rear speaker amp RCA's the channel that I decide to plug in works. But when I plug them into the eq nothing. 03 Ford f150 2 Sa8 v2s Ap 1800d... k3n12ock
Didn't see you post this but if you go straight from the HU to the amps, everything plays right? If so, what preout from the HU are you using? Front? Rear? I hope it's not subwoofer. How are your RCA's from the HU to the EQ looking like? Sure they are in the right place? Like I said, these are basic things but you didn't mention how you have them hooked up. Also, it's not a good idea to be pulling out and touch RCA's while hot. 05 xB - (2) EVIL 18s - (2) BC3500s - NO WALL Channel 1: http://www.youtube.com/k3n12ock Channel 2: http://www.youtube.com/MrK3n12ock2
