SMD Basshead Posted March 4, 2013 Report Posted March 4, 2013 About a week ago I picked up this car..and some of you that live in the LA area might have even seen this car posted on Craigslist for $1,000. This is a 1987 Toyota Corolla SR5 (AE86). It has 185,000 miles and a 1.6LT 4AC motor. Truthfully not sure what my plans are for this car. Maybe in the future turn it into a drifter, or it may just be my daily car. And lastly the really only bad thing about the car. Hope you guys enjoy! Here is a video of a start up and exhaust FYI this is going to be a reallyyyy slow mover..I don't make that much money so this will take along time. If anyone has parts or any tips on fixing this rust on the quarter panel I would appreciate it, I'm going to look around but maybe you guys have better ideas. SMD Basshead Posted March 4, 2013 Author Report Posted March 4, 2013 I say keep it stock and get it looking like new, you'll turn more heads and have more guys trying to buy it from you then if you did mods to it Yeah man, that's what the plan is here is a list of what I want to do.. - Upgrade the suspension(running on cut springs now) - Fix any dents/rust - Clean up the interior a bit - Dynamat the entire car - Wheels of course - Paint - Tint - Weber Carb - Better air flowing exhaust - And of course a system..
