bassfreake Posted March 6, 2013 Report Posted March 6, 2013 I noticed while I was driving around various places today that when I turn my car on it's 15-20 seconds or so before my subs actually start running. I know it's been a while since I've had my subs running but I don't remember it doing that with any of my other setups. Any ideas as to what's going on? my amp turns on immediately it just doesn't start pushing power to the subs right away Thanks I was pretty excited about the alt myself. kind of like a school girl, in a dress, on a swing. lol It's warming up enough that the donut-punching cyclist douchenozzles are getting their two wheeled fagmobiles out. Wicks Posted March 6, 2013 Report Posted March 6, 2013 Most amps have a turn on delay to deal with the "turn on thump" but it shouldn't be that long.... bassfreake Posted March 6, 2013 Author Report Posted March 6, 2013 oh ok. well idk for sure how long it was, I originally thought it was about 5 seconds but I went out to my car while I was typing the question to make sure my amp was actually turning on immediately and the song that was playing didn't have bass right away and then there was another 5 or 6 seconds after the bass in the song should have started before the subs actually started Thanks I was pretty excited about the alt myself. kind of like a school girl, in a dress, on a swing. lol It's warming up enough that the donut-punching cyclist douchenozzles are getting their two wheeled fagmobiles out. bassfreake Posted April 6, 2013 Author Report Posted April 6, 2013 yep everything is connected right it's grounded to a panel in the trunk that the sole purpose of that panel is to put grounds lol it's a unibody car and I sanded all the paint off and everything before I grounded it. It does play it just has maybe a 5 second delay to it and wasn't sure if that was normal. Thanks I was pretty excited about the alt myself. kind of like a school girl, in a dress, on a swing. lol It's warming up enough that the donut-punching cyclist douchenozzles are getting their two wheeled fagmobiles out.
