Buss bars

I have 8th inch 1 inch copper bars that I was going to use to connect 2 xs d3100s for a bc3500d would these bars work fine for power transfer or do they need to be thicker? Not real big into the electrical aspect yet

1/8 is alright, most use 1/4 i believe

it's only about 1.5 times the area of a 0ga cable... so not ideal.

however, you're not running a heap of power, so it should be fine, if you do it right.

for example, you wouldn't want the battery connected to one end of the bus bar, with four cables running off it, instead you'd want the battery connected to the middle, with two cables on each end... if that makes sense

Alright man thanks for the info, since they are 8th inch could I put 2 on each like just double them up? Would that work then I could just connect the wires anywhere to them because I have a bunch of the bars like 300+ lol I can get them for free because my work throws them away

Don't be an idiot like me and use half inch thick. Had to pay to have a shop tap them out for me.
