She bought me a table saw, and a scroll saw to go with my 3/4" sheet of mdf, glue, screws and most everything else needed to put it all together. I should have taken a picture before I got them all dirty lol. As you can see, my garage is destroyed, but it got dark so I had to move everything inside and I was too impatient to wait til tomorrow to finish some of my cuts. Here is a picture of one of the baffles and somewhat of a teaser of things to come I still have some sanding to do obviously. I just made some quick rough cuts. Should be ready to power everything up either tomorrow or Thursday, but there is still much to be done before it is complete. ncochran Posted March 14, 2013 Author Report Posted March 14, 2013 Quick test with subs just dropped in and baffle not screwed down and using 4gauge power/ground with 18ga speaker wire sounded mediocre of course. For me it was more about the satisfaction of seeing something sitting in the hatch for a minute lol. I wasn't completely satisfied with some of my trim work so I am waiting on a circle jig then I am going to redo my baffles and trim. However, here what it looked like (obviously unfinished) and the second shot is a teaser of things to come. Ordering some new wire today. Also have Appradio2 to install. ncochran Posted March 16, 2013 Author Report Posted March 16, 2013 Nothing super exciting I guess, but another update. Hooked it up today, sounds pretty good. Slight air leak between baffles, so I will have to do some sealing I guess. Wired the LEDs, cut out the top trim piece and did a few other things. Am waiting on the plexiglass ( should be here today) then I will finish the box and be ready to start work on the amp rack.
