only have moved box to gate and back from gate. after thinking about it i think they may be out of phase. but tomorrow i will check and if thats not it i will move box all around

crossovers don't have anything to do with this problem when the woofers are moving an inch a piece playing regular music. have you tried different box orientations for shits and giggles?

yes i put the port right on the gate and also moved it like 6" back from it and same thing!

keep us posted, probably out of phase if its not louder than an 8, but are you sure its wired down on the amp correctly?

for example, you may think you have it wired at 1 ohm, but accidentally wired it in 4 or something so they may not be getting much power?

Edit: what VVME amp is that, 1200?

im going to say that they are out of phase not sure but thats what im going for they are dvc 2ohm and on my dmm they read 2.3ohm at the amp. i cant find specs to but i think they are 1000-1500 rms each and are for sure lacking in the power side. only runing 600rms to them for now. the amp is a QA-D1500. the subs have 3" coils anda re around 45 lbs i would say, the company is now out of business

that would be a huge reason why they wont be loud,

if you only have 600w RMS, on 2 1500w RMS subs, thats the problem man, those subs will have such a stiff suspension, 300w per woofer is not enough to hardy move them, and you have high odds of damaging them from being WAY underpowered

Many 1000w to 1500 w RMS subs on the market will barely perform until they have that 1000 to 1500 watts of power
