CLNSHVNnDRAGGN Posted March 14, 2013 Report Share Posted March 14, 2013 Just wondering if anyone has swapped the ac pump for a second alternator in a 2G, 420a Eclipse? My stock alt is only 95 amp and rather than spending the money on a HO for a car I probably won't keep much longer I was thinking about throwing in a spare 95 amp alt that I have but not sure how to go about it. Fabbing a bracket for it won't be hard but I don't know how to figure out what size belt I would need to get or if there's anything else I would need to do besides wire it to my battery. Trial and error on the belt size is not an option because they will have to be special ordered and are not cheap.
