1991 S10 4x4 Blowthrough! Playing now, Looks sharp. 1 out of 2 Skar VVX 12s are in!

Hey guys, I just thought I would let you know that I have the privilege to build yet another blowthrough. This is my buddy's 1991 S10 4x4 Extended Cab. He had his 2 Alpine Type S 12s in a ported box I built for him on an Audiopipe AP15001D. He hit a 140.8 @ 51 hz. Not too shabby for two small subs. He decided that he was ready to upgrade big. We are building a 4th order 1:2 ratio blowthrough for them, until he can get a couple of really nice subs to throw in there. 2.4 Sealed, 4.8 ported, tuned at 47 hz after displacement. Should make these Alpines sound a little better, and once he gets some nice equipment, it should slam hard. He is looking into some DC Level 4s, maybe some Skar ZVX 12s, any more recommendations?

It starts! 2 sheets of MDF, a 2x4, 2 boxes of screws, some metal and wood jigsaw blades, a tape measure, and some Titebond III.

Braces are sanded!

He wanted them white.

I will be watching this very closely. I have the same truck just single cab even same rims. Im doing 2 dc m2 8s behind the seats for now. Anyways do what you do ill defintly want a demo from this if i go to norman

How much air space did u guys get? Did u run the box all the way to the fenderwells

We got it in and playing, not completely done yet though. It goes 30 inches back, it takes up a little under half of the bed.

Looks damn good for building in 6 hours, haha! It took me 5 days straight, 10 hours a day to build mine.
