Splicing

Well basically I set up my system today and I had to end up mounting my amp to the right side of my box because I was too lazy to go get a new ground cable because it was too short, so what ended up happening is that one sub terminal wouldn't reach the amp but the other would. My brother had some speaker wire in the basement that he said I could have, and so now 1 speaker wire terminal is a different gauge then the other and are spliced together at the amp, will this affect the subwoofers performance at all?

is it smaller or bigger than the original wire. and what subs and amp

bigger, and MB Quart RWE-302 and Rockford P6001BD

ok if the wire you added was bigger then no difference will be made as long as it was done right

Alright cool, the wires inside the sub box are same size, just the outside wires that go to the amp and are spliced together are different sizes lol
