starting new build with my 2 12" re audio subs, having troubles finding a place to run my 0 gauge power wire from the battery? anyone with this car found a good place for it to work? also my friend is usually the one hooking them up so wondering if anyone can help me with how to wire my subs into the box, and wire them up to my 1 channel amp... my box has two terminals but i need it to be going off the one terminal so it can go to the 1 channel amp.. help would be greatly appreciated

its kind of making sense to me, but a sketch would probably be alot more beneficial if you could do the wiring diagram with the cap involved? it would be a huge help

Since you have 2 dual 2 ohm subs, you can either wire to 2 ohms or .5 ohms( I don't recommend)

Here's a picture for you

Then wire each sub in series to a 4 ohm load to each terminal
Like this except for the box terminal


Do the same for the 2nd sub
Since the Hifonics has 2 sets of + and -, wire each sub to each set, and the amp with bring the load down to 2 ohms

that visual definately helps, how exactly is the cap going to work with it? and i wanna hook the ground of the amp up first and then the power after hooked to the battery right?

oh so i just hook the 0 gauge right into the cap and then out of it? seems simple enough

You wire to a capacitor like how you would wire to a battery though I hope you're not using the cap to help with poor electrical.
