Radio not picking up fm

So i just bought a 2012 chevy soinc and my free trial to Xm has expired so not i have to lissen to FM (wich i do not have a problem with) but my issue is the station i love and a couple local ones i lissen to i can not pick up in my new car. All my other cars have picked them all up with no problem but not this one. I did put subs in the back and tied tied them in with a filter to the rear speakers but that should not have affected my service. Any ideas what it could be and yes the antina is still there. (little short fing thing lol)

If you have the type of ant that I am thinking of, I would look into buying a longer on. Also look to make sure the ant is plugged into the back of the radio. Strange things happen.

Yeah, if you cant even pick up local stations antenna must be unplugged somewhere or it was a defect in the radio. Can you pick up any stations at all? Take the radio back put and double check that the antenna is plugged in, I have forgotten to plug mine back in a few times when I mess with my radio. lol

I never listen to radio unless I forget my ipod cord or flash drive lol, but I have forgot to plug in my antenna numerous times and didn't realize it.

if that's not the case that I would say it's an electrical problem with your radio/HU.

It's the stock raido so I have not touched it at all. And yea I do get some stations but hardly are they clear or the ones I always listen to. I have also heard since I don't have xm any more it can cause problems but it was still kinda wanky when I had it. Guess I may have to take it to the dealer and say fix it or give me free xm lol
