Car Audio Problem Need Help ASAP !

Hi everyone,

I have been running a alright setup for a couple months in my BMW e46 320i, I had to use a a Stinger LOC because I didnt want to change the factory head unit.

So I bought two Audiobahn AW1251T and a Power Accoustik 1400W AMP, the setup was playing great and it was loud enough for me, but a couple days ago I have been getting some problems, first when I shutted the car off, and started it back again, 1 of my subs stopped playing, I swapped the RCA's and still did not work. So I unplugged it and left it like that because I didnt have much time to check it out and today the other subwoofer stopped playing also.

Im not sure if I blew them, but I do not have any problems into pushing the subwoofer in and I do not hear any weird noises from the coil while pushing.

I checked the fuses of the amp and they are good, the amp turns on fine, I still have audio in the car.

I think its coming from the LOC.

Any ideas ?

have you tried testing the subs with a DMM,put in on ohms mode? Disconnect them and see if you're getting a reading from your wires or sub terminals

Thanks for your answer, I just got the subs out of the box, they both play when the I push on the the sub.

I guess the voice coil is blown :S

do you have digital multi meter or know someone that has one? get them to test them before you do anything else. A car audio shop could do it for you or if you can find an electrician at an electrical company they might do it for you
