Alt Hookup

Hey guys.....I'm new to this forum-thing...got a question: just mounted up my add-on alt in my '01 Sierra 5.3 and I'd like some feedback on how to wire it up...I;m waiting on the power plug, but I need to know how to wire it into the system....Also, should I wire them together or keep em separate? Batts: D3400 underhood and XP3000 secondary

wire them to both charge both battery banks, remote turn on with relay the 2nd alt, and keep 1st alt stock hook up, would do big 3 to both alts etc.

edit: this is how i have mine and no problems as of yet

Thx man...yea, did the Big 3 on factory alt already - will be doin the same on the add-on...
