when you say "a box that can fit my trunk" you mean " im gunna build a box in my trunk and tune it to 32 hz " right?

and ive heard bad things about certain hifonics amps....so do your research.

look for a dash kit ^

and a decent headunit. higher preout voltage is better. like 4v preouts. heard good things about alpine and a bunch others..... im sure others will chime in.

what are you going to do for electrical to support that much power. those elantras only have like a 80 amp alternator........ you WILL need more to support that power. as well as extra 1/0 wire to do the big 3.

also make sure you get a decent brand for wire.... alot of brands will claim 1/0 awg wire but you get the equivalent of 4 awg with alot of insulation around it to make it look bigger.

good luck :)

i think there real i was looking through that guys stuff he sells and it looks like he finds stuff at auctions and just sells it

Yea, it looks like someone got the mids about a month ago....shit. If I had a whole Hertz front stage my ears would jizz all over my cheeks.

i would suggest knukonceptz for your wiring. a 0 gauge kit on amazon is like 60 bucks for cca. and like 115 for ofc. its great wire. id also recommend a different amp rockford or sundown. maybe even soundqubed? i definately need to replace your stock hu. kenwoods are good. and pioneers too. jvc are ok. plus id get a agm battery to help with the power.

About how many amps is good for an alternator?

that all depends on how much your wanting to push with it and your pricing. first you need to google your vehicle and see how many amps your alternator is putting out now. doing the big 3 in 0 gauge will help alot. you may not need to get a ho alternator if your stock one is putting out enouf. like maybe 100 or over. also look into other stock alternators that may fit your vehicle. some stock alts produce around like 120 amps wich should be enough for some decent wattage with the right battery like a optima yellowtop and a few extra agm power cells.
