TITUS1985
What should I do if I'm getting voltage drops, even after I put in (over sized) optima yellow top and big three with 1/0 awg. my amp is a audison voce 5.1k putting out 1650 watts RMS (or should be at 14.4 volts) my car at idle is around 13.1 volts. I've got components all the way around and 1 12; when the bass continually hits my volt meter stays around 12.2 - 12.5. I would really like to get it up to the 14.4 if I can. Also the make and model is 1985 toyota camry. Stock alternator is 70 amp and I don't believe they make a high output one that fits my car. Any input is appreciated thanks. Crandis16
high output alternator or more batteries. did you do the big 3 yet under the hood? how many batteries? just 1 under the hood? might want to throw one into the trunk too contact Mike singer, I wouldn't be surprised if he has something to fit your needs Edit: it won't be easy to STAY at 14.4 at full tilt My Red zx2 Build Log My Black zx2 Build Log My Red zx2 UBL
TITUS1985
Yeah I kind of figured that, but if I can I want to try and get close to that 14 volt range when I'm at idle and when the stereo is just on playing for some fill in noise.
