321slapinbass Posted May 6, 2013 Report Posted May 6, 2013 you have ALOT of room with the 3rd row folded down (like 13+ cubes). Do you want to use the 3rd row seats, or do you want them folded down with the box on top? and what is the dimension from the floor to the top of back seat? 2000 Dodge Durango Subs - (2) SKAR VVX 15 D2's Box - 7.2 ft^3 @ 33hz, 120 in of port Sub amp - Digital Designs M2 @ .5 ohm Mids + Highs - PRV Audio Mids + Highs amp - Hifonics 2000.4 Headunit - Alpine CDE-100 Equalizer - Clarion EQS746 Batteries - Mopar group 27 + (2) C&D 52ah Wiring - 1/0 BIG 3, (2) runs 1/0 Alternator - Singer 250A 147.79 dB @ 35hz - burp - sealed on dash 147.47 dB @ 35hz - music - sealed on dash YOUTUBE: http://www.youtube.com/user/321slapinBass/videos

mypetrie Posted May 6, 2013 Author Report Posted May 6, 2013 I don't have a 3rd row of seats i have the R/T didn't come with any
98GCLimited Posted May 6, 2013 Report Posted May 6, 2013 Well with that space you can do a lot of different sizes for depth height and width. Heres something you could use thats pretty close to what you would probably want. You never mentioned your musical preferences to determine what you would want to be tuned around so I went lowish around 33-34hz. This would be 2 common port walls if you were going with a center port with 2 subs on each side. Subs up port back double thick top/subwoofer baffle. If you wanted to do a port on one side rather than center it would b 3 common port walls and drops tuning a tad closer to 33hz. The depth of the box is deep enough you do not have to mess with port bends there is enough distance between end of port and back of box to allow good flow in and out of the port. Your side panels height and front to back panels height would actually be 12.75 tall not 13.5 like that cut sheet says because of double thick top layer. You would also cut 2 tops to make the double thick baffle. Your port side pieces would be 12.75 x 25.25 and you would cut 2 of them if you wanted to do center port. Your back panel would be 33 x 12.75 and the two front panels on either side of the port would be 12.75 x 13.5 each leaving the 6" gap in the center for the port. Might want to double check some math but thats about it I think.
98GCLimited Posted May 6, 2013 Report Posted May 6, 2013 You cant read the spreadsheet? 12.75 tall x 6 wide and 26" deep
mypetrie Posted May 6, 2013 Author Report Posted May 6, 2013 Oh didn't see that Hahahahahahahha and just to clarify i just cut the wood to the size of the cut sheet.. And also i think i might have just got confused but the box is rectangle right? like i measured and drew it up it seems like the sides with the 30.5 will be skewed
98GCLimited Posted May 6, 2013 Report Posted May 6, 2013 Shouldnt be skewed, the 30.5 piece goes on the inside of the back and front panels so with the .75 thickness front and .75 thickness of the back panel its 32" deep which should be how big your top and bottom pieces are.
