SnowDrifter
Dual 1 ohm coils or dual 2 ohm coils. What amp will be powering them? Guest
dual 1 ohm voice coils. dual 2 ohm voice coils. neither is better. you use either one to get to X ohm load for X amplifier.
98GCLimited
The D means dual and that means there is 2 voice coils per sub. The 1 means 1 ohm, 2 means 2 ohms. So yours are dual 1 ohm coils, 1 ohm per side (each coil has its own positive and negative). You can wire your 2 d1 subs to either 4 ohms or 1 ohm or .25 ohm (not recommended lol). Id wire them to 1 ohm and find an amp that is 1 ohm stable for them.
