There is not a single sub out there that is better than every other sub out there, and I am tired of people saying DD, FI, RE...etc are the best subs out right now. It is all personal preference. Fi BTL's... And almost any other sub you can think of vs a DD with the same power. DD has always put up better numbers. even if I give you that, which sub sounded better, which sub had lower extension? besides, how can you compare a DD, L7, CVR, and BTL side by side? That is the exact reason they have different lines of subs. If you honestly tried to compare those subs side by side you should never make another post on a car audio forum. I chosenot to run DD because IMO every DD seup I have heard sounds like complete ass. yet you dont see me going around telling everyone to steer clear of DD either. I think they are good enough subs, but fo the price the damn well better be.
