AFTERMARKET ALT IN 89 CABRIOLET. NeED WIRING HELP

ok so i have an aftermarket alternator that will drop into my cabby but its built for a 96 suburban with a 5.7
i need to know how to wire this alternator up. other than the bolt that runs the leads for my batteries i dont know where to run the wires. its a 4 term connector but im 90% certain i dint need to use all 4. i really think i only need to use one but alas, im not certain. the 4 wires coming off have letters underneath them that are

my guess is F is for Field
S maybe to starter?
but im not certain.can anyone here help me. the 96 suburban only had one wire coming off the connector but i dont know which pin or to where. i havent been able to play with my buddys burban in a while.

Did you try googling it? What is the make of your car? Porsche? If it is you will likely have to ask a porsche technician and if it is a porsche are you putting a system in the front trunk?

P= Starter
L= Regulator

F= Field+

S= Sensor

Edit: Ok so there's PLIS and PLFS alts. PLIS is usually in a vehicle with a BCM, PLFS is usually in one with the BCM. From what i read they're not interchangable so you have to get the correct one.

So you're trying to put a alt that belongs in a suburban into a Cabriolet?

ya its an aftermarket 350.really trying to find if possible and how.my lil vdub needs more juice!fuel injected.the burban only ran a wire the started and its a system in the rear
