yes my subs are almost toasted. Thank you DD for sending me a Brand new sub with coil rub! It has finally caught up and the sub is essentially seized up i think it wore the coil out completely....caused the other sub to unload because it barely moved...and you know the rest...

who has 18s for sale!??

So now both are toast?

I've been having sub problems to. Only mine were my own fault. My XL's didn't quite like double rms with a big box;)

Are you thinking 2.5" coils or 3"?

id use OA 18s if find them

OA would be dope. You'd just have to take it easy on the gains.

ive decided to go for a 155 sealed.

i know i need alot of equipment, but i want a 155 sealed with my current box

That's a good goal to strive for. So are you planning on changing the tuning or size of the box then? Or just adding power?

I'm going to shoot for 153 sealed with my 18's. Last time I metered it was a 150.6@38 but that was without the wall sealed off and all the equipment literally thrown in the night before.

dropping tuning actually, but will be able to switch back to my 38hz tune to burp
