jazz5000 Posted May 26, 2013 Report Share Posted May 26, 2013 Hi Just fitted a Viper 5701 into my VW Golf Wired the aux 1 to a relay, So i can have the headlghts on a timed 30 second input. However when i activate aux there is no voltage on the aux wire. Is there anything that has to be done first? To try activate aux1 i press the F button once then press aux. jmsonoma03 Posted May 27, 2013 Report Share Posted May 27, 2013 what wire(color)are you using ? did you change it in the programing menu for 30 seconds opt 4? i think it comes programmed to only output power for as long as you hold the aux button down? jazz5000 Posted May 27, 2013 Author Report Share Posted May 27, 2013 Thanks I wired the relay for a switched +12v output, I have now rewired it for a switched negative and all is working now.
