I have 2 p2d2 15s on a t1000bdcp at 2ohms. the subs are new, well 2 weeks old. i have the gain set low as well as the punch eq. my problem is the subs smell like hot brakes on a car. is this part of breakin in or somthing i am unaware of. any help is appriciated.

But if they are clipping then its most likelythe voice coil.
