Battery Setup

I'm running a single saz2500d and I was wondering what battery setup I should run to keep my volts up? Also should I run 1 or 2 batteries?

also is it worth the money to buy a HO alternator? If so how many amps and what brands should I look at? Thanks guys

I have a 99 dodge durango with the 5.9 v8

looks like your oem replacement ranges from 116-132 so yours has to be in that range, now you have to think about 70% is being used by Accessories headlights radio ac etc etc, myself would start with a batt, then alt in near future.

I was looking at running 1 or two xs power 2400s. Think that would do okay for my application? I don't plan on installing any more amps or anything that would draw more power

2 plus stock? or 1 plus stock?

Either way reason with 1 and observe volt drop see if it slowly drops or drops very quickly, from what I know take this with a grain of sand, Drops slow New alt, Drops fast Extra batt

Taking out the stock battery. Putting a 2400 under the hood if it fits and a 2400 in the back

Measure twice for sure if replacing stock! always measure twice dont want to have to ship your new 50lb batt back fr a smaller one xD

but yeah start with that and check voltage order one at a time if u have to, I woudl order back one first.. Just my opinion

ive heard you aren't supposed to mix car audio and regular batteries..

You dont want to mix old and new for sure idk about mixing brands I guess may drain one more than the other? were running a Stock ever start batt up front irraggi 220 alt and a bt 140 in rear almost no drop in voltage @1ohm
