DrewJones
So I got the subs built last Friday night, then installed Saturday morning.Installed with the Fi stickers still on.Then onto DD stickers. lolThis was the first score I got out of it. This was after 10 minutes of full power burping at the wrong note. So subs were HOT and batteries were DEAD.Went back few days later with cool subs and charged batteries, gained .7 by having it all fresh. Then at the show, had them all fresh, A/C going full blast to cool the cabin and got this! Still LOTS more to come! After demo'ing all day at Scrapin', the batteries were low to say the least. Since my Singer alternator didn't make it in time. This picture is after driving for 20 minutes with everything off. While demo'ing and such, I broke part of the emblem off the driver door. lolThen today, 2/24/2012, I got these Enkei SR6 18"s for the PT for $100. I was just driving to my parents house, and saw them sitting in someones yard next to a PT. So I pulled in and asked if they were for sale, she said they were and asked what I wanted to pay. I was thinking $300-$400. She said "I'll let you have em' for $100 since your parents live right there and I'm scarred to post them on craigslist so you're helping me out" lol. I responded with " I'll be back with cash in 20 minutes" haha TEAM SOUTH Bassahaulic Productions The ONLY Bright Atlantic Blue DiamondBoxx L Drew Jones Bassahaulic Productions 4 SSA ZCON 15"s 2 Sundown SCV-6000's 6 AGM G31's 161.6 @ 40Hz Outlaw 159.8 @ 36Hz Legal ┌∩┐(◣_◢)┌∩┐

DrewJones
We we're insanely slow at work. And I have been sick of having to pull my AUX cord out my glove box. So, I did something about it.How my little panel looked previously. This picture is way shittier then I thought. lol wowTook out the rear wiper switch, since it's useless as hell lol. I FINALLY got the Singer 240 amp alternator installed, only to have the diodes fail in a matter of days. I believe it do be caused by the damage UPS did to it. So, I will be taking it off and repairing that this coming Tuesday. But when it was working, man that thing was a beast. lolI also finally stopped being lazy and painted the wall. As it sits it's only 1 layer, and the port need to be painted all the way to the back. It's a VERY light silver.Sanded my ass off prior to painting, rounded over the port like a mofo. And smoothed out the front even more.I know I need to clean up the edges behind the driver seat, that'll happen at the same time I paint the port and add another layer to the middle. Tomorrow maybe. The M4a got lifted about 1" above the carpet so the internal fan can breathe, and a Stinger fan was added to the side of that. This helped A LOT with the heat from running .25ohm and playing music. Then I took out the Diamond D6 mids on the right, and replaced them with Apline Type X mids on the left.I fine the Alpines to be much cleaner sounding, less distortion at higher volumes, and definitely better mids bass response. DrewJones
I've also been losing passenger side glasses for an unkown reason. This is window number 2 in 3 months. The weird part is, when they have broken, the PT has been 100% off. No stereo, nothing, just off with the window down both times. First time door was open and I was in the rear working on the batteries, I hear a ~thud~, followed by the sound of glass falling. And sure enough it had shatterd. The second time, my brother just shit the door, gently, and boom. Gone. Well, the M4a is now gone. I'm going to miss it but it went to a forum local and a good friend.I now have two RD Audio D9's wired to .5ohm each. So far it is musically MUCH louder since the amps aren't turning off. My M4a would turn off since it was wired to .25ohm and my impedance rise wasn't very high. If it had been just a little higher it would be been BADASS.Going to meter it today after work.I ended up stacking the D9's ontop each other. Worked out great! All XS Flex and Knu Konceptz wire. Came out pretty good. I still have the PAC fan to keep the amps cool, helps a lot with the heat here. lol Epic ass Audiosystems X-Ion 70.6 Plus!!!!Two fans on this side and two side on the other.A little fuzzy, but you get the idea. Taking her to work to be installed. DrewJones
Well, got something epic done to the PT. Been wanting to do this for a while just got to it. I have a Mike singer 240 amp alt, was PCM regulated, now, externally. Transpo 911-02R External Regulator. Any of the regulators that look like this, are ALL made by Transpo. The wiring is dirty for the moment, until tomorrow and I can get to the shop. First test. Possible normal driving voltage. Oh snapz!!! Fully loaded, Dual 2. With cooling a 7 spiders. A little rusty, but typical for Louisiana subs. lol TEAM SOUTH Bassahaulic Productions The ONLY Bright Atlantic Blue DiamondBoxx L Drew Jones Bassahaulic Productions 4 SSA ZCON 15"s 2 Sundown SCV-6000's 6 AGM G31's 161.6 @ 40Hz Outlaw 159.8 @ 36Hz Legal ┌∩┐(◣_◢)┌∩┐
DrewJones
Well metered the new N3's, first I metered with the D9's wired to 1ohm each. And it did this at 44Hz. The RE MT's wired to .5ohm per amp did a 157.7 after the deadener was added. Then I did this with each amp at .25ohm, still at 44Hz. The bottom amp kept protecting, so I know there is more to be had. Here is a video of the new subs playing some music. I have been slacking HARD with these updates! lol But I've been working a lot.Quick update I suppose.New front stage has been insatlled with 2 db Drive Pro Audio 8"s in the doors and 2 db Drive Pro Audio 1" tweets in the dash.No pictures right now, wil get some soon. My boss let me get the shops 3Sixty.3 and put it in my car. Said He will just take it out my check when I start making some more money hahaMounted the 3Sixty.3 ontop my amp rack just to get a basic tune and setup down. Then moved below my amp rack to be hidden.
