hdorre Posted June 17, 2013 Report Share Posted June 17, 2013 I bought halo headlights, and want them to light up when the car is on and/or when the parking lights flash (like for my alarm). I just want to confirm the wiring. 30 - battery + 85 - chassis 86 - I'd have one wire from my switched ignition to pin 86, and one wire from my parking lights positive to pin 86. Each of the two wires will have a diode. 87 - halos' positive 87a - not used If this is correct, what type of diodes do I need? I don't want my parking lights and switched ignition to make any contact. What amperage and voltage ratings should I be looking at?
