I have had one of my subs out for hole cut out measurements for a few days, had the radio on(amps on, but muted at HU) and forgot about it, I pulled in the driveway and it crackled a little bit, then the smell of smoke filled the TB, my heart sank and checked my bass knob to realize it wasnt on.....I think I smoked an amp. I will pull it out tomorrow to see the damage, I really do not understand how this coudl have happened though. even with one dual 4 ohm in parallell woudl still put it at 2ohm, so load isnt a factor here. Anyone have any ideas as to what coudl have happened? They had been working fine for about 6 months now.
